Jim Swan (one of the pioneer consultants) 'found' me through some mutual friends and since I was unemployed at the time, I decided to go with him and check out this soils and crops consulting business. After a couple days of learning about Brookside and what valuable information he was providing farmers/growers without selling products, I decided that this was a good business for me--and the rest is history. I have served on committees, the Board of Directors and was deeply honored to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2010. I am semi-retired as I continue to help Jared Mosier who has taken over most of my clientele.

My BS degree from Penn State was in Ag Bus Mgmt. and I have a Masters in Intl. Adm. My plan at the time was to be working in some form of ag development in Latin America. As it turned out, I ended up working in 'ag development' right back where I grew up and with no regrets!

Wife Andrea & I have 2 married children: Kateri (Jeff) and Dominique (Eli), 2 grandchildren: Cascia (10) and Donato (6) and 1 grand dog: Gucci (70 pound English bulldog)!
