Greg Kneubuhler

I was born and raised on the family farm. I am still involved with the family farm heavily. My passion for production agriculture took me to Purdue University where I majored in Agribusiness Management. I completed college in 3.5 years as I was driven to get out so I could get working.

I did a summer internship each summer I was in college to get more exposure to what options were out there. One internship with American Cyanamid led me to my first job out of college. I started with American Cyanamid right out of school and entered a sales territory with them. Although it was short lived with American Cyanamid getting bought out, it was a tremendous experience. I learned a lot about corporate America, sales, and the Midwest. I left them as they were getting dissolved and came back home to work for The Andersons as a Sales agronomist very close to my home place. I built many great relationships with farmers in that area I was working but lacked my true passion of helping people improve their agronomics. I called Joe Nester one day and he introduced me to Brookside Labs.

After much deliberation, I finally made the decision to leave my role as sale agronomist with The Andersons and work alongside Joe at Nester Ag. We built and grew things up rather quickly. Then, in 2009, I decided to form G & K Concepts, Inc. and continue on under that entity. We have been plowing forward ever since and now have a wonderful staff and growing business.

My wife, Kim, and I have been married almost 20 years now. We have 3 kids. Taylor who is 15, Brooke who is 14, and Caleb who is 12. We are very active all the time. Our girls both play travel basketball year around as well as basketball, volleyball and track in school. Caleb plays travel baseball as well as basketball, baseball and soccer in school. We are all rather sports nuts and spend a lot of time at ball games. We also raise, show and sell show pigs. We try to get to open shows when we can around ball games and are heavily involved in 4-H. We’ve also raised New Zealand White show rabbits for a number of years and had success showing them as well. We enjoy the farm life and being in the country and around livestock.

The Brookside/Amplify organization has been one of the best moves of my life, next to marrying Kim! I have never seen or experienced an organization like this one ever before. I attribute a lot of our business success to Brookside/Amplify and now that I’ve had the fortune of being in the first Peer Group, I’ve gained a lot of personal success as well. I think if you get connected in this organization, you will reap big rewards. It’s quite an honor to serve on the board at Brookside and help make decisions to guide the future of this great organization. My roots run deep into farming and I enjoy being around anything that has to do with production agriculture and raising livestock. Our business has been a great connection to my roots.
