I started with Dennings and Associates in 1979 after receiving my BS in agronomy from Michigan State University. Grew my assigned area from about 4,000 acres to over 90,000 acres. I formed my own company in 2017 as Roger Dennings was retiring. I hired John Koenig in 2020 and we are attempting to grow the business and get John ready to take the reins. We have a variety of crops up here from sugar beets, pickles, corn, to dry edible beans and others. Our soils are quite variable and therefore VR applications pay off quite nicely. I have also done work in Portugal and Hungary.

I have been married to my wife, Joan, for 45 year. We have three children, John (43), Matt (41), and Jenny (39). We are having fun with eight grandchildren, ages 2-15. I enjoy college sports, and officiated high school basketball for 26 years. I enjoy fishing and golfing, MSU football games. Most of all I enjoy going to my cabin with my wife and the rest of the family when they can get there.
