I am a 4th generation row crop farmer and work with my family on Serry Farms west of South Bend, Indiana. My great-grandpa came over from Belgium and started a farm in the early 1900s, and my grandfather later purchased the ground and our original homestead to start Serry Farms in 1953 where we are still located today.

After growing up immersed in agriculture, my passion for the science behind soil grew and I knew that I wanted to pursue a degree in ag. While working towards my degree, I interned with Greg at G&K Concepts, and found I really enjoyed consulting and helping other farmers. In the Spring of 2014, I graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a BS in Crop and Soil Science.

Shortly after graduating, I made the decision to start my business, Serry Crop Consulting. I wanted to help other farmers succeed by connecting the chemistry of the soil to the final product - crops, always with a continual goal of improving yields and soil fertility. I have since continued to grow my business as time allows, as I am heavily involved in my family farm and the management of the farm. My goal is to sustainably grow both my business and the farm over time, while initiating positive relationships with fellow farmers in the area.

Me and my wife, Heather, look forward to teaching our two children, Wyatt and Isabelle, the ins and outs of farming and how to be good stewards of the land with hopes that they will join the family business someday. My grandpa’s motto was always “God, Family, Farm”, and to this day those remain my most important driving forces.
