I received my bachelor of science in soil science/botany in 1994 from the University College of North Wales Bangor. I currently am living in France, Oloron, but working in New Zealand, Japan, China, USA, South Africa.

I grew up in Hampshire southern England and married my wife Lynnette in 1977. We have five children, two grandchildren, and another one expected this autumn. We live in/near the Pyrenee mountains on the France/Spain border.
